Is it permissible to continue assisting and supporting a charitable organization that spends donations on matters that may be forbidden, such as holding singing and musical parties for orphans, knowing that it has its own projects to fund its activities?

Sponsoring orphans, assisting poor families, and providing affordable education are charitable acts that warrant prayer and effort. However, the aforementioned institution's disregard for Islamic teachings, such as holding musical and singing parties for orphans, prevents it from being considered a charitable institution. Those in charge should be advised to avoid these activities and threatened with public warnings against the institution if they do not stop. Alternatively, one should at least cease assisting and advocating for it, because avoiding prohibitions takes precedence over performing commands, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "What I have forbidden you, avoid; and what I have commanded you, do of it as much as you are able."
