Is it permissible to take damaged equipment from a government company for personal use without the company's knowledge, especially since the company collects and disposes of it?

As long as the equipment can be utilized, it is permissible to take it and benefit from it after the company has discarded it and authorized its destruction, thereby relinquishing its ownership. It is stipulated that this equipment must not cause harm to people or the environment, as the Prophet, peace be upon him, said: "There should be no harm nor any causing of harm."
