What is the ruling on your saying, "I seek refuge in the mercy of Allah"?

Seeking help through God's mercy is seeking help through God Almighty. When the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, was distressed by something, he would say: "O Living, O Sustaining, by Your mercy I seek help." And he advised Fatimah, may God be pleased with her, to say, when she woke up and when night fell: "O Living, O Sustaining, by Your mercy I seek help; rectify all my affairs for me and do not entrust me to myself for the blink of an eye." Sheikh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah mentioned that seeking help through God's attributes is, in reality, seeking help through Him.
