What is the ruling on a wife initiating leaving the marital home and going to her family's house, and is she sinful for doing so, because her husband married another woman, knowing that she cannot live in this situation due to her jealousy and the psychological pressure it will cause her?

A wife is not permitted to leave her husband's house merely because he married another woman. Islam has made polygyny permissible for a husband, especially if he needs a second wife due to the first wife's inability to bear children. She must be patient and seek reward from Allah. However, if the husband insults her or fails to fulfill her obligatory marital rights, then she has the right to leave and demand what she wishes. Her mere objection to his marriage is as if she is objecting to one of the rulings of Islam, which is impermissible. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "If I were to command anyone to prostrate to another, I would have commanded the woman to prostrate to her husband."
