Does having a good opinion of Allah during calamities mean certainty of relief or reliance on His will, and is certainty of Allah's acceptance of the dhikr (remembrance) in prayer consistent with fear and hope, taking into account the Prophet's saying: "Supplicate to Allah while you are certain of a response"?

A Muslim must surrender to God's decree, holding a good opinion of Him, and striving in supplication, certain of God's power to relieve his distress. The answer to supplication is not limited to the fulfillment of what is requested; it may also be the averting of evil or the storing up of reward. The supplicant must be fearful yet hopeful, while observing the conditions and etiquette of supplication, such as presence of heart and avoidance of impediments. Certainty of a response comes from fulfilling the conditions of supplication, avoiding its impediments, and having sincere hope.
