Is reciting Surat Al-Ikhlas instead of the Qunut supplication in the last rak'ah of the Fajr prayer considered an innovation (bid'ah) in the Maliki school of thought?

The Malikis recommend saying the Qunut in the Fajr prayer before bowing (Ruku'), with its established wording, and saying it silently. This is what the practice of the Companions settled upon. What the questioner does is not legislated and does not conform to any madhhab.
