What is the ruling on delaying the making up of missed days from Ramadan for three years, and what are the implications of that? And is it permissible to give expiation (Kaffarah) in Ramadan and give it to charitable organizations?

It is not permissible to delay making up missed fasts until after the next Ramadan, except for a valid excuse. If you delay making up the fasts without an excuse, then in addition to making them up, you must pay an expiation for the delay. This expiation is feeding one poor person for each day (a mudd of food, which is approximately 750 grams of rice or its equivalent). This expiation does not multiply with repeated delays. You must repent to Allah and hasten to pay the expiation as soon as possible.
