How can my supplications be answered, given my religious commitment and diligence in worship, and the fact that my prayers remain unanswered, especially concerning the issue of procreation? And are the mentioned supplications permissible?

One should turn away from the whispers of not conceiving, be patient with the trial, and exert permissible efforts in seeking treatment, knowing that people are unaware of such a hidden defect.

For a supplication to be answered, there are etiquettes and impediments. The etiquettes are: presence and attentiveness of the heart, coinciding with the six times of answer (the last third of the night, at the time of the adhan, between the adhan and the iqamah, after the prescribed prayers, when the Imam ascends the minbar on Friday until the prayer is concluded, and the last hour after Asr), humility and brokenness before Allah, and supplication, facing the qiblah, purification, raising the hands, beginning with praising and extolling Allah and sending prayers upon the Prophet (peace be upon him), then repentance and seeking forgiveness, persistence in asking and entreating, seeking intercession through Allah's names, attributes, and monotheism, and giving charity.

As for the impediments to an answer, they are: the supplication itself being weak, such as containing aggression, or the heart being weak and not turning to Allah, or the presence of impediments such as consuming unlawful things, injustice, the tarnish of sins, overwhelming heedlessness, and the servant’s impatience and slowness in receiving an answer.

The acceptance of a supplication does not mean receiving the exact thing requested or being answered at a specific time. Rather, it will be one of three: either the supplication is expedited, or it is stored for the Hereafter, or an equivalent evil is averted.

It is permissible to supplicate for twins and name them, and to ask for offspring who will worship Allah. However, saying: "My Lord, show me how You answer supplications" is less preferable than supplicating for the supplication to be answered and the request to be granted.
