Will a woman be punished if she is content with wearing loose clothing and uncovering her face with a headscarf, and will she be considered immodest in this case, or is the matter with Allah?

The issue of covering the face and hands is a matter of scholarly disagreement. For a woman who finds the opinion of their obligatory covering to be stronger, she must act upon it. If she acts upon the weaker opinion while believing the stronger opinion of obligation to be correct, her action is considered a sin that places her under the will of Allah if she dies before repenting. This is based on the Almighty’s saying: "Indeed, Allah does not forgive association with Him, but He forgives anything less than that for whomever He wills."
