What is the ruling on a marriage that lacks stability and security, and is it permissible to take back one's wife after divorcing her without her knowledge or the knowledge of her family?

The wife has obligatory rights upon her husband, such as good companionship, financial support (nafaqa), clothing, and a suitable dwelling, and it is not permissible for the husband to fall short in these. If the husband falls short, the wife should advise him with wisdom and gentleness. If that does not help, she has the right to resort to the judiciary to claim her rights. The basic principle is that the wife should not leave her home except with her husband's permission. If the husband falls short in her rights, she may demand them, or show patience and seek reward from Allah, or refer the matter to the judiciary to claim her rights or request a divorce.
