Is the wording of the seeking of forgiveness, "I seek forgiveness from Allah Almighty, other than Whom there is no god, the Living, the Sustainer, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, Possessor of Majesty and Honor, Creator of the heavens and the earth, from all my wrongdoing and extravagance upon myself, and I repent to Him," narrated from the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace?

The wording of the prayer for forgiveness mentioned in the question is not found in the books of Sunnah, but there is no harm in seeking forgiveness with it. The best forms of seeking forgiveness are those mentioned in the hadith of Shaddad ibn Aws from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "O Allah, You are my Lord. There is no god but You. You created me, and I am Your servant, and I am abiding by Your covenant and Your promise as much as I can. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done. I acknowledge Your blessings upon me, and I acknowledge my sin. So forgive me, for no one forgives sins except You."
