Does drawing separate parts of a living, ensouled being (such as a rabbit), then assembling and animating them digitally to appear as a complete, moving creature, constitute the depiction of ensouled beings that incurs the threat of punishment, even if the purpose is permissible entertainment?

It has been previously stated that the complete drawing of animate beings is forbidden, but it is permissible if their features are obscured or if they are incomplete in a way that prevents their animation. Therefore, if the mentioned drawing constitutes a complete image with un-obscured features after assembling its parts, it is not permissible, and the decisive factor is the final state of the image. However, if it is incomplete or its features are obscured, then there is no objection to it. Ibn Uthaymeen mentioned that an image in which the eyes, nose, or mouth do not appear is not a resemblance to Allah's creation.
