Is it permissible to complain to Allah about the scarcity of sustenance, and does that contradict seeking well-being, and what is the way to get rid of a recurring sin?

A servant's complaint to his Lord is not forbidden; rather, it is a permissible and beloved act in the sight of Allah Almighty. This is because creation is dependent on Allah for attaining their benefits and warding off their harms. Allah loves for His servants to ask Him for all their needs, both religious and worldly.
