ما هو أدب التشاور في الإسلام؟

Consultation is the seeking of opinions from experienced individuals to arrive at the truth. Its legitimacy is established by the Quran and Sunnah. Allah Almighty said: "And consult them in the matter," and "And their affair is [determined by] consultation among themselves." The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, was the most frequent in consulting his companions. It is preferable for one not to proceed with an unclear matter before consulting people of sound judgment and good counsel, and accepting their opinion if it appears to be correct. The consultant should be religious, sincere, and intelligent, and free from ulterior motives and preoccupations.
