Dictionaries transmit these translations merely as information, and they are no different from Arabic language books that contain pre-Islamic poetry contradictory to Islamic law, yet scholars have not prohibited their circulation. It appears that this question stems from scrupulosity (waswasah), and the cure for scrupulosity is to disregard it, not to dwell on it, to humble oneself before God, and to consult trusted psychiatrists. Asking many questions does not cure scrupulosity; rather, it increases it.
