Is a wife, who filed a lawsuit in court requesting to see her children once a week, entitled to do so after she abandoned them a year ago and previously did what she did to them?

The matter is before the Sharia court, and its ruling will be based on what the judge issues, and its enforcement is obligatory. The mother has the right to visit her two sons and should not be prevented from doing so. The determination of the visiting hours is entrusted to the judge. If it is impossible to arrange the visitation by agreement, the judge will arrange it in a place that does not psychologically harm the child. The right of custody is a matter of scholarly disagreement: whether it belongs to Allah Almighty, or to the custodian, or to the child. And whoever considers it a right of the custodian may relinquish it and is not compelled to exercise it.
