Is feeding his children meat from the garbage or from a dead donkey considered a sin for a father, knowing it is forbidden, due to the severe economic conditions that compelled him to do so?

Suicide is forbidden and considered one of the major sins. It offers no solution to a problem; rather, it is a transition to greater misery in the Afterlife, a loss in this world and the Hereafter. Allah has warned those who commit suicide of Hellfire. Eating carrion is not permissible except in extreme necessity, when there is fear of perishing, no permissible food is available, and no ability to borrow or ask for food. One must prioritize asking people and seeking lawful food over eating carrion, if possible. However, if one fears being accused of theft or can only find carrion, then it is permissible for them to eat it.
