Is it permissible for me to take the housing allowance designated for doctors if I own a house and do not pay rent?

It is not permissible to resort to deception to obtain housing allowance if the employment contract does not stipulate it for an employee who owns a residence, unless the employer agrees to disburse the allowance to you. The decisive factor in this matter is the labor system and its regulations. It is obligatory to adhere to the terms of the contract and fulfill what has been agreed upon without deceit or treachery, in accordance with the Almighty's saying: "O you who have believed, fulfill [all] contracts" and "And fulfill [every] commitment. Indeed, every commitment will be questioned," and the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Muslims are bound by their conditions."
