What is the ruling on money received by a person from his employer in exchange for renting out his relative's house, and what is the extent of the permissibility of this act?

If the employer stipulates residence in the house rented at their expense, it is not permissible for the employee not to reside in it, due to the deception and breach of condition involved. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Muslims are bound by their conditions." However, if the employer provides housing allowance without stipulating residence in it, then this is permissible.
