Does shaving or shortening the beard prevent one from reaching the Basin of the Prophet (peace be upon him)?

The ruling on shaving the beard has been addressed in previous fatwas. We do not know of any authentic hadith (definition) that prohibits shaving or trimming it from reaching the Prophet's Pond. At most, it is a sin, and whoever repents from it with sincere repentance, Allah will accept their repentance and forgive their sin. If one dies in a state of Islam and faith, they will reach the Pond and drink from it a drink after which they will never thirst again. And Allah knows best.
