If the work exposes women to unlawful privacy () or prohibited mingling (ikhtilat), then it is not permissible to employ them in it, as this would be aiding in sin. However, if the work is free from these transgressions, such as working in a place separate from men, then there is no objection to employing them if they are qualified.
