Is a husband, if knowledgeable of the Sharia rulings, obliged to teach them to his wife, and is this teaching a right for the wife similar to financial support?

A husband is obligated to teach his wife what she needs to know regarding the rulings of menstruation (hayd), post-natal bleeding (nifas), prolonged vaginal bleeding (istihada), and other religious rulings that are incumbent upon her. If the husband is knowledgeable, he is obligated to teach his wife. Otherwise, she is permitted to go out and ask scholars; in fact, it becomes obligatory for her, and it is impermissible for him to prevent her, unless he asks on her behalf and informs her. If that is not the case, she is permitted to go out to inquire, and the man sins by preventing her. If the woman neglects a ruling and the man does not teach her, the man incurs sin and shares in her transgression.
