What is the ruling on a husband who lets his wife shop for the house, even though she has a car and a driver's license?

It is permissible for a woman to go to the market if the following conditions are met: that there is no fear of temptation (fitna) from her, that the path is safe from expected corruption, that there is no illicit mixing with non-mahram men, that she adheres to full hijab, and that her husband grants permission for her to go out. Her going out may even be obligatory if she cannot find anyone else to do it for her.
