Is it permissible to play audio recordings before or after the dawn (Fajr) adhan? And what is the ruling of Sharia on that?

The intention behind asking about the practice of turning on the radio through loudspeakers before or after the Fajr adhan (definition) is that it is impermissible. If it is intended as a form of worship or drawing closer to Allah, then it is an innovation (bid'ah). If it is not intended as such, it is still impermissible due to the disturbance it causes to those praying and performing night vigils, and the annoyance it causes to those who are sleeping. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade raising one's voice in recitation in a way that harms others.
