It can also refer to synchronizing with the Imam in the actions of prayer, which is disliked; for the Sunnah (definition) is for the worshipper to follow the Imam, lagging behind him, not paralleling or preceding him. It can also refer to a single worshipper standing to the right of the Imam, aligned with him, although it is recommended for him to be slightly behind.
