What is the ruling on a car company refunding the price of accessories in cash to the customer, after the latter canceled them, and the company had already sent a financing request to the bank for the total price of the car with the accessories, and the bank issued a purchase order for that amount?

It is permissible to purchase a car via Murabaha through a bank, provided that the bank first buys the car and takes possession of it, then sells it to the customer, and that the contract is free from prohibited conditions. It is not permissible in a Murabaha sale for the customer to conspire with the original seller to increase the price so that the customer takes the excess amount, because that leads to usury (riba), whether the customer intended it or not. If this occurs, the amount must be returned to the bank.
