Did Sheikh Muhammad ibn Uthaymeen deny the Hadith of Al-Jassasah, and why do some scholars adhere to it if that is the case?

Shaykh Ibn Uthaymeen holds that the Hadith of Al-Jassasah has not been authenticated due to its contradiction with more authentic Ahadith and the presence of strangeness (nakarah) in its context, leading to a lack of assurance that it is from the words of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him.

On the other hand, others—including Imam Muslim, At-Tirmidhi, and Al-Albani—believe that the Hadith of Al-Jassasah is authentic and does not contradict other Ahadith. They argue that its presence in Sahih Muslim is proof of its authenticity and that there is nothing in its chain of narration that would invalidate it.
