What is the reward for Friday prayer, what is its significance, and why is it distinguished from other prayers?

Allah chose Friday to be the greatest of days in His sight, and He distinguished the Friday prayer with a special virtue and a sublime merit due to the blessing of this day. The direct reason for its exaltation is Allah's divine choice and specific designation of it with advantages and virtues, which is a manifestation of His Lordship.
