Is the husband's payment of 'Umrah expenses for his rebellious wife, who abandoned the marital bed, considered forgiveness or pardon from him for her rebellion, knowing that he does not intend forgiveness but only the reward?

A husband's payment of 'Umrah expenses for his unjust wife with the intention of reward does not forfeit his right against her, nor is it considered an act of pardon or forgiveness concerning his right. However, forgiving the one who has wronged, if it does not lead to a greater harm, is better and is a noble characteristic beloved by Allah, a means to attain Allah's pardon and forgiveness, and a path to honor and dignity. This is in accordance with the Almighty's saying: "And let them pardon and overlook. Would you not like that Allah should forgive you? And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful," and the saying of the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him: "Allah does not increase a servant in anything due to forgiveness except honor."
