Is there a contradiction between verse 155 of Surat Al-Baqarah and the last verse of Surat Al-Mulk?

There is no contradiction in the Quran, and the two verses differ in meaning. The first verse speaks of Allah testing His servants with trials and patience, while the second verse speaks of the servants' need for Allah and His exclusive bestowal of blessings, especially the blessing of water.
