Pension or retirement funds are of two types: The first is cooperative and mutual (governmental). In this type, monthly sums are deducted and invested. These investments may include permissible and impermissible investments, and some of them are placed in usurious banks. It is permissible to work in this type, provided that one does not directly engage in forbidden activities within it. The work of the girl in processing the files of contributors is permissible, and her salary is lawful.

The second type is commercial and non-cooperative. Working in this type is absolutely forbidden. The girl's work in it does not prevent marriage to her, but it is not permissible to deal with her regarding her salary if she has no other wealth.
