The answer

It is permissible for an employee to participate in a pension scheme or social security fund and benefit from its provisions, because it is among the duties of the state to care for the weak and the elderly. What is forbidden is placing these funds in usurious banks. The sin is borne by whoever mandates these transactions, assists in them, or approves of them, due to the : "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) cursed the one who consumes riba (usury), the one who feeds it, its two scribes, and its two witnesses, and he said: 'They are all equal (in sin).'" Therefore, if the girl's work does not involve dealing with banks or recording usury, there is no harm in her work or her salary.
