What is meant by the noble verse which indicates that Allah does not change a blessing He has bestowed upon a people until they change what is within themselves, and does that mean that blessings endure as long as no sin or evil is committed?

Quranic verses confirm that calamities occur due to sins, such as the Almighty’s saying: "And whatever strikes you of calamity – it is because of what your hands have earned, and He pardons much." However, blessings may be removed from an obedient person because of the disobedience of others, as the Almighty says: "And fear a trial which will not strike those who have wronged among you exclusively." This verse refers to societies, not individuals. So, if some individuals in a society change and disobey Allah’s commands, it is possible for blessings to be removed from all of them due to the sins of some.
