What is the ruling on one who increases the price of a commodity and falsely swears an oath regarding its original price to increase profit?

Whoever buys a commodity and then offers it for sale, lying about the price at which he bought it, has committed a forbidden act that removes the blessing from his sale. If he swears an oath to this lie, his sin and punishment are greater, and he falls under the warning mentioned in the prophetic hadiths which state that "the one who markets his goods with a false oath" will not be looked upon by Allah on the Day of Resurrection, and he will have a painful torment. Also, "the oath markets the merchandise but destroys the blessing." And whoever swears by Allah that he was offered a price for his goods that he was not offered, in order to deceive a man, the following verse applies to him: (Indeed, those who exchange the covenant of Allah and their oaths for a small price - those will have no share in the Hereafter, and Allah will not speak to them or look at them on the Day of Resurrection, nor will He purify them; and they will have a painful torment) [Al-Imran/77]. Such a seller is one of "the three whom Allah will not speak to, nor look at, nor purify, and they will have a painful torment."
