Among the mistakes made by some pilgrims when entering ihram are: passing the miqat without entering ihram, wearing underwear, and women wearing the niqab and gloves during ihram.

Among the mistakes during circumambulation (tawaf) are: jostling to kiss the Black Stone and harming other circumambulators, touching non-mahram women, performing tawaf from inside the Hijr, and loudly repeating specific dhikrs for each round of tawaf.
