How is the estate of a woman who died leaving a half-sister through her father, a half-brother through her mother, and a mother divided?

If the deceased leaves no heirs other than those mentioned, then the half sister inherits half by explicit injunction, for Allah Almighty says: "If a man dies leaving no child but only a sister, she shall have half of what he leaves." The mother inherits one-sixth by explicit injunction due to the presence of a brother and a sister, for Allah Almighty says: "But if he has brothers [and sisters], the mother shall have a sixth." The maternal half-brother inherits one-sixth by explicit injunction, for Allah Almighty says: "And if a man or a woman leaves neither parent nor child but has a brother or a sister, then for each one of them is the sixth." This inheritance involves a return (radd). So, it is divided into five shares: three for the half sister, one for the mother, and one for the maternal half-brother. It is advisable not to divide the inheritance without consulting the Sharia courts.
