Do these narrations indicate the desirability of observing a vigil in the mosque between the Maghrib and Isha prayers?

Voluntary prayers between Maghrib and Isha are legislated and are considered part of the night vigil (qiyam al-layl). Many hadiths and narrations have been reported regarding their virtue. It is permissible to perform them in the mosque, but it is better for them to be performed at home, following the example of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and his companions, and to encourage the performance of supererogatory prayers in homes in general, especially the Sunnah prayer of Maghrib.
