Does a Muslim commit disbelief through sexual fantasies related to the Divine Self? And must one repeat the prayer or the remembrances if these fantasies occurred during their performance?

The evil whispers and thoughts that a Muslim dislikes and for which he is not held accountable are from the essence of faith, as stated in the noble prophetic tradition: "Indeed, Allah has overlooked for my Ummah what they whisper to themselves, as long as they do not act upon it or speak of it." As Ibn al-Qayyim said, a person cannot kill thoughts, but the strength of faith and intellect helps him repel the most repugnant of them. These whispers do not affect the soundness of faith or Islam, and there is no need to repeat prayers or litanies because of them. Rather, one must turn away from them and ignore them.
