Is it permissible to supplicate for a girl's marriage to be delayed so that the questioner can propose to her?

A Muslim should ask Allah to choose what is best for them and make it easy for them, entrusting their affairs to their Lord and having a good opinion of Him, and trusting in His choice and planning, Glorified be He. There is no harm in supplicating for marriage to a specific girl. However, supplicating for a girl's marriage to be delayed is impermissible because it involves wishing for the removal of good from a Muslim. Allah knows what is in the servant's best interest more than the servant themselves.
