Is it true that for one who severs ties of kinship, no prayer, zakat, fasting, or any good deed is accepted from him, and that his repentance might be rejected?

It has been previously established that the judgment on cutting off ties of kinship is severe, and paternal uncles are among the kin with whom ties must be maintained. One must hasten to repent and mend the relationship with relatives, for Allah connects with those who maintain kinship ties and severs ties with those who cut them off. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Indeed, Allah created creation until, when He finished His creation, kinship said: 'This is the position of one seeking refuge with You from being cut off.' He said: 'Yes, are you not pleased that I should connect with whoever connects with you and cut off whoever cuts you off?' It said: 'Yes, O Lord.' He said: 'Then that is for you.'"

Respond to the ill-treatment of relatives with forgiveness and kindness to attain reward. It has been reported that "one who cuts off kinship ties will not enter Paradise, and that there is no sin more deserving of having its punishment hastened than it, and that his deeds will not be accepted." As stated in the hadith (definition): "Indeed, the deeds of the children of Adam are presented every Thursday night, the night before Friday, and the deeds of one who cuts off kinship ties are not accepted." It is imperative to hasten to maintain ties with relatives and repent from cutting them off.
