How sound is the Hadith which mentions that the inscription on the Seal of Prophethood was: "Muhammad the Messenger of Allah," such that the word "Muhammad" was on the top line, "Messenger" on the middle line, and "Allah" on the third line?

Scholars have differed on the arrangement of the lines on the Seal of Prophethood, and there is no definitive text to settle the dispute. Some inclined towards "Muhammad" being the uppermost line, then "Rasul" (Messenger), followed by the majestic word "Allah". Others, however, maintained that "Allah" was on the highest line. There is a view that the writing was from bottom to top, so that the majestic word would be at the top. It was also said that the engraving was inverted so that it could be read correctly when used as a seal, but Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani mentioned that no authentic report has been established regarding either of these two matters.
