Emigration is not obligatory for the one incapable of it, due to illness, weakness, or compulsion. 3. Emigration is recommended but not obligatory for the capable one who can openly practice their religion and fulfill its obligations. This is for the purpose of increasing the number of Muslims and distancing oneself from disbelievers.

Accordingly, if you are secure from temptation in that country, there is no harm in you traveling there for study, provided you are keen on acquiring beneficial knowledge, performing righteous deeds, and keeping company with righteous Muslims.
