How can I marry someone I love who does not want to marry me, given that I am engaged to someone I do not love?

Disobedience inherits worry and humiliation, and there is no salvation except through sincere repentance by cutting off the relationship, regretting it, and not returning to it, and remembering death and the Afterlife. Her boyfriend is not suitable as a husband due to his transgression and his unwillingness to marry her. Many women have fallen into the trap of what is called "love," losing their chastity, and some men do not trust those who agree to go out with them. Transgression is not limited to explicit adultery; rather, it includes the adultery of the eyes, ears, tongue, hands, feet, and heart. The questioner is not obligated to marry someone she does not desire and can annul the engagement. However, if the suitor is pleasing in his religion and character, she should hold onto him and free herself from the forbidden relationship, for happiness is in the hands of Allah for those who obey Him.
