The answer

One should frequently seek Allah's forgiveness (Istighfar), regret the sin committed, and make abundant supplications for Allah to accept the repentance. Allah knows the unseen of the heavens and the earth, and He may destine good for a servant in what they dislike. Allah Almighty says: "And it may be that you dislike something while it is good for you; and it may be that you love something while it is evil for you. And Allah knows, while you know not." One must supplicate for a righteous spouse, and not despair concerning the unseen, and be certain that Allah destines good, and adhere to obedience to Allah and closeness to Him, and have good thoughts about Him, Glorified be He, as stated in the Hadith: "I am as My servant thinks of Me. If he thinks good of Me, then it is good for him; and if he thinks otherwise, then it is as he thought."
