How does a married woman living with her in-laws preserve herself, what is her reward from Allah, how does a woman adhere to her hijab and Islamic dress, and how does a man live with his wife to build a happy life that pleases Allah?

A wife living with her in-laws must be cautious not to seclude herself with non-mahram (definition) men, such as her husband's brothers, and must observe the legal hijab (definition) in front of them. If one of the husband's relatives lives in the same house, the wife must have an independent dwelling, even if it's a room with its facilities, to avoid awkwardness and legal prohibitions. She must also be careful in her speech with them and avoid speaking in a soft, alluring tone. She will receive a great reward if she guards herself, obeys her husband, and treats her in-laws with good character. To achieve a happy marital life, both spouses must uphold the limits set by Allah, maintain good companionship, show obedience, and practice contentment.
