Is it permissible for dogs, cats, or other animals to eat from the meat of the Udhiyah (sacrifice) or Aqiqah (sacrifice for a newborn)? And what should be done with its non-edible parts that are of no benefit?

The eating of sacrificial or 'aqiqa meat by a dog or cat does not affect its validity, as long as the animal was slaughtered according to Islamic law. The saliva of a cat is pure. As for what a dog laps from a liquid food, it must be discarded. If it is solid, the part touched by the impurity should be removed, and the remainder may be used. The spot where a dog bites the meat must be purified by washing it seven times, one of which is with earth, in order for it to be permissible to eat. If the uneaten parts of the sacrifice can be utilized or fed to animals, that is good; otherwise, there is no harm in discarding them.
