Is making up for missed prayers since the age of puberty done by multiplying daily prayers, meaning performing each prayer twice?

If you were to pray each obligatory prayer and then repeat it once with the intention of making up (qada'), this would mean that you would be making up one day's prayers each day, which is little. It is better to make up two days' prayers. However, repeating a single prayer twice when making up is not valid according to many scholars, because it violates the obligatory sequence. The correct method is to make up the five prayers for one day in their proper sequence, and then to make up the five prayers for another day.
