What is the ruling on docking sheep's tails to accelerate their growth, and is this considered a change to Allah's creation?

It is permissible to amputate an animal's tail if there is a benefit in doing so, such as improving its meat, which is what scholars have agreed upon regarding the castration of an edible animal. The evidence for this is the Prophet's sacrifice of two castrated rams (peace and blessings be upon him). However, if there is no benefit, amputation is not permissible due to the suffering it inflicts upon the animal.
