Is what I responded to the one who claims that the Messenger, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, consummated his marriage with the young girl Aisha correct, that she had reached puberty and experienced menstrual bleeding when he consummated his marriage with her?

It is well-established in Sahih al-Bukhari and other collections that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, married Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, when she was six years old, and consummated the marriage with her when she was nine years old. Books of Sirah (biography of the Prophet) have reported this as a continuous tradition (mutawatir). The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, did not consummate his marriage with Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, until after she had reached puberty and was prepared for intercourse and conjugal life.
