How do we distinguish between the word of God and the word of humans in the Gospel when some passages call for good morals, and what is the ruling on admiring them?

It is not permissible to definitively state that any of the words found in the Gospels today are the words of God, nor to believe people who claim that it was revealed to Jesus, peace be upon him. A Muslim generally believes in what Allah revealed to Jesus, and it is necessary to avoid perusing distorted books, the examination of which is forbidden for common people. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, became angry when he saw a page from the Torah with Umar, and he forbade believing or disbelieving the People of the Book. The previous divine books have undergone distortion, additions, and omissions, so it is not permissible for a Muslim to read or examine them unless they are firmly grounded in knowledge and intend to clarify the distortions and contradictions found within them. The fact that speech is good and promotes noble morals does not confirm that it is from the words of God, for such can be found in the words of sages and poets.
